In this class you will learn to use a round Kumihimo disc to make a cord. You prepare fabric or yarn and braid an 8 strand cord. You’ll learn how to finish the ends with a clasp and discuss the use of 16 strands as well.

Class materials include: a kumihimo disc, bobbins, yarns, glue , wire and clasp if needed.  

You will need to bring notebook and pen, scissors, and a tape measure or ruler.  

Class meets Mondays, July 13th and 20th from 11 a.m. till 1 or 2 PM as needed.  Class fee is $60 for 2 meetings and includes materials.

Students will learn to prepare silk fabrics for a cord necklace or belt using the round kumihimo disc and eight strands of material.  

Class materials include: kumihimo disc, bobbins, fabric and instruction sheets and instruction.  

You will need to bring notebook and pen, scissors, and a tape measure or ruler.  

Class will be offered on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 or 4 p.m. as needed.  July 18 or August 1st  Class fee $50. 

You will learn how to create these charming dragonfly brooches for yourself  and/or your friends with WireLace, wire and Swarovski crystals. 

Class includes materials for one brooch. Wire, WireLace (in your choice of several colors), Swarovski crystals, pin, instruction sheet  and instruction. 

You will need to bring: a small ruler, scissors, wire cutters and round nose pliers if you have them, otherwise there will be some available to share.  

Class will be held on Saturday, August 8th, 9 AM. to noon.  

Class fee is $20.
