NUNO FELTED SCARF Friday, January 6, 2012
Time: 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Cost: $50
Nuno felting is the process of felting wool
into a lightweight open weave natural fiber fabric. In this class students will create a nuno felted scarf using heat,
moisture and agitation. The wool fibers will migrate throughout the fabric, shrink and become a textured, warm, lightweight
and flexible scarf. There are many possibilities for transparency, texture and a collage of materials. Students
will take home their completed scarf.

FELTING OVER WIRE –NECKLACE
Friday, January 6, 2012 Time: 3:00 p.m. – 7:00
p.m. Cost: $50
Students will felt over wire to create a
flexible necklace. The students will use dyed wool roving along with heat, moisture and agitation to felt the wool over
the wire. The tips will be embellished with seed beads.

FELTED BEADS AND A FLORAL BROOCH
Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Cost: $50
Students will make wool felted beads which will be suitable for earrings or
necklaces. They will also make a felted abstract floral brooch. The wool beads and brooch will be created using
your hands, heat, moisture, and pressure. White or dyed wool roving will be provided for projects. Students will
be taking their pair of beads and brooch home.
